Food For Thought

The Democrats love to blame President George W. Bush for all of our country’s woes and will continue to do so until the end of time. President Bush was not a perfect President – no President is – but many people forget that, at the end of the day, there was no question that President Bush loved America and was a true patriot. I’m not sure we can say the same for the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I came across this comic entitled Stuff Bush Didn’t Do, Illustrated.

Do you think this is accurate? What else would you add to this? I would add a few more examples:

President Bush did not threaten Congress by stating that he had a “pen and a phone.”

President Bush did not have an Attorney General who referred to those who shared his skin color as “my people.”

President Bush did not sit in a church pew for years, listening to the violent discourse of a person who hated America.

President Bush did not treat our military like second class citizens.

  1. Great op-ed, absolutely right. “Unconstitutional war?!” Kind of like Korea (Truman), Vietnam (JFK-LBJ), Kosovo (Clinton)? Problem with Libs-Progs, they only see what they want, when they want it and if you do point out the flaws in their lack of logic they hit the racist automatic send button.

  2. President Bush didn’t personally inject himself in local police matters.

President Bush never had personal or public pictures taken giving America the middle finger!

  3. Ok. Since those are things Bush didn’t do lets talk about some of the things he did. Bush and his cronies falsely led us into an unconstitutional war that made millions for his friends. He basically followed (PNAC’s) the project for a new american century playbook. Do we have to mention the Bush tax cuts, trickling down on the so called middle class? I’m not a fan of Obama and didn’t vote for him, but please don’t act like Bush didn’t screw up bigtime.
